I applied for the Graduate Analyst position at London. The process lasted for around 1 month from contacted by hr to interview. I went through HR screening and user interview. The interview process was okay.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Hong Kong) in Apr 2014
Interview
Four-step process - automated video interview, phone interview with very basic questions (this may be done in the office if you're in town), presentation and then meeting the founder. They are very quick in responding to you. The interview with the founder will consist of "technical" questions in how AlphaSights operate as well as personal questions. He just wants to get a better understanding of who you are.

Question 1
Understand what AlphaSights do and what their business model is - they will ask you questions from the start of a project to the end (how you might find experts, how you approach them, what questions you should ask, etc)
I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview was conducted online and lasted around 20 minutes. It was a one-to-one video interview with a hiring manager. The questions were mainly focused on my background, previous experience, and motivation for applying to the Graduate Analyst position. They also asked about my expected salary and availability. The atmosphere was professional but friendly, and the interview followed a structured format.
Good interview, asking primarily about characteristics and personal experiences. Very self-focused, with a lot of emphasis on personality rather than technical ability. Overall interviewers in both screening and first-round interviews were nice people and polite.
