I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Similar to what's been described here. You have the dreaded AVA via video, a 45 minute Skype with HR, two hour in-person, and then the final interview with a VP. Overall, it was a pretty weird experience. My HR interview was pretty cold and it seems like the girl was speaking to someone else the entire time. I enjoyed my in-person interview. Definitely try and prep as much as you can for the case section (even though it's nearly impossible given the dearth of resources they give you for it.)
Overall, it was okay of an experience. I have a weird background and probably didn't convey my passion for AlphaSights well enough which is why I didn't likely get the job.

Interview
The hiring process was very straightforward. First, I submitted my resume and then completed the video pre-screen, where I answered 4 questions after 30 seconds of preparation (1 minute per answer). I then had a video interview with a recruiter. In addition to questions about myself, there were many fact-based questions about the company itself, so taking a good pass at the website in preparation proved very useful.
