I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Alpha Rae Personnel (Indianapolis, IN) in Sept 2016
Interview
Recruiter reached out via email, I responded with my resume and cover letter. She called me to discuss some opportunities she currently had available. After that initial conversation I was sent a email to complete a skills assessment test. I took about 2 hours total. I ended up asking her to submit my information and my test results to all the positions she had within my pay range. Two out of the three reached out to me for an interview. One was a phone interview and the other was an in person interview at the company. and you are instructed to call your recruiter after every interview. The company I had the phone interview with asked the recruiter to schedule me an in person interview, however I declined. I was not feeling the vibe I got from the company over the phone. The person interview went great and that employer ended up contacting me directly and offering me the position. I called my recruiter and everything we set from there. I was told my hours and I started the following Monday. Very easy process.

Question 1
I think the hardest part about the interview process is the skills test. It is very long, detailed and unfortunately timed. I was tested on several different things like excel, word, words typed per minute ect.
