Aloft Appraisal interview questions

The interview was on zoom call. I was called at noon and we talked about the job pay etc…The interviewer talked about the payment , how many times a month they would pay.

Interview was fine - the issue is that Aloft seems to be little more than an intermediary between the AMC and the appraiser. So the AMC takes a cut, Aloft takes a cut, and the appraiser is paid as a W2 hourly employee earning a nominal wage. This might be a feasible business arrangement for a trainee, but not for a licensed or certified appraiser.
