Everyone was friendly but it was in a meeting room with glass doors and I was facing the hallway, so was somewhat distracting.

Interview
Fairly simple. I got a call to do the interview and then met with hiring manager. She was nice. My qualifications did not really meet the role. Eventually I was rejected.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Allstate (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2024
Interview
1) Completed an asynchronous recorded interview (terrible invention where are you record a 2 minute response to a bunch of questions like you're giving a soliloquy).
2) They reached out for a recruiter screen after several weeks of hearing nothing
3) Then took about 5-6 weeks to organize just 3 interviews with Hiring Manager and team members
4) They then proceeded to ghost me after I completed all their interviews and they had taken 2 months of my time. Its sad some companies think this is the acceptable norm now. They talk all the live long day about their values and culture and then can't even give you the decency of a phone call let alone an email at the end of their process to tell you one way or the other....Really they're treating people like human trash.
Very good. The agent took time to explain the pay formulas for renewal and walked me through several different lines of business. It was a pleasant experience, for a job interview.
