      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Allied Universal (Salinas, CA) in Aug 2020

      Interview

It was really well organized - first I got a call by a recruiter asking when I'd like to schedule the interview call. On the agreed upon day and I got a call that was about 1h long, with several situational questions and several more specific knowledge/experience questions. I heard back 2 days later that they are scheduling a second video interview with the manager and hrm. The second interview was really really short, they just asked me to tell them about me in general and then they told me about the job, that was it. After 2 more days I got the phone call with the job offer.

      Human Resources Coordinator Interview

      10 Oct 2017

      Buffalo, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Allied Universal (Buffalo, NY)

      Interview

I was extended the opportunity for an interview with this organization. Upon sitting down, I offered my personal references, which weren't taken, and was asked if I had any questions. This was a bit unexpected, since my questions usually came towards the end of an interview. Nonetheless, I asked my questions that I had written down and replied to what made me stand out among the other individuals with 20-30 years experience for an entry level position. I was then introduced to a few members of the team and then asked if I had any questions for them. This concluded the interview. What I can't seem to understand is how a recruiter would hire an individual without asking them any questions about the individual's past, present, future, strengths, weaknesses, or even challenges that they've been faced with. Wouldn't an organization want to know if the individuals goals are aligned with the company's? You don't want to hire someone who will be moving on in the next few months or year because of poor hiring procedures. I am sure this organization is a great place to be with great teamwork; however, I am a bit shocked at the interview process with this organization.
