Had applied to a few jobs that matched my interdisciplinary field of work. Got back an email from the recruiter stating: “Applying for multiple jobs in your field doesn’t help. We are going to pass.” Absolutely horrible recruiting culture. What is a candidate with interdisciplinary background supposed to do? Pick just one out of 3-4 and apply. Nobody does that. They at least could’ve been decent about it.
