I applied online and was contacted by an HR talent manager. The interview was pretty basic, asking questions about education, previous jobs, and just generally walking through my resume. That interview went really well and two days later the talent manager called to set up an interview with the hiring manager (which would be my boss). We had an interview that next week which also went very well. We talked about my resume, general behavioral, personality, and work questions. Also talked a little about the job, and the technical aspects, talked about the area and experience potential. That night I was contacted by the talent manager and invited for an on-site interview. Due to my location, it took a week to work out the details and get to the site. The night before the interview, the department head and a colleague picked me up and took me out to dinner. I had an all day interview that started out with the safety video, meeting the department head, and a plant tour. Then I had a series of 6 1:1 and panel interviews with lunch somewhere in the middle. Over all, it was a great experience and went very well. The interviewers were insightful and provided lots of great information. Flew home the next day and received an offer letter one week later. Two weeks after that I was in my new location and working a week after that.
