I received an email from Afero promoting the job listing. After responding to the solicitation there was an initial phone screen; very typical, introductions, history, pay expectations. Then an internal recruiter works with you to schedule further rounds of interviews. Each of the further rounds were remove video calls. One thing that was a little surprising to me was that each of the interviews felt very repetitive. Each interviewer asked pretty much the same (or very similar) questions, basically reviewing previous roles based on my resume. There was a little variance based on being interviewed by different people, but it seemed more repetitive going through the same things over and over again instead of having some structure of, this is a coding interview, this is a design interview, this is a behavioral/cultural fit interview. There there wasn't any of that. I interviewed with 4 members of the team, and that took about 5 weeks time.
I enjoyed interviewing with each person but did not get an offer.
