I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek in Aug 2016
Interview
Recruiter calls me about the entry level recruiter position last week. She asks if I'm still looking and I tell her yes but that I'm unable to speak with her because I'm on the road and I was sitting with another client. I then ask her if we can talk at a later time. She goes off by telling me that she's going to be on calls all afternoon and doesn't know when and if she will have a chance to call me back. Aerotek doesn't need to take such an elitist attitude when talking to potential candidates. If a candidate isn't available at Aerotek's beckon call they will lose the opportunity to speak again. This is ridiculous!
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What motivates you?
What’s your “why”?
Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
