I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adyen (Amsterdam) in Jun 2020
Interview
The interview process is usually an HR interview discussing your interest, the role and potentially asking for any preferences when it comes to language, etc. It all depends on the role you have applied for. This follows with a few technical rounds. The interview process always ends with a board interview; a pretty casual catch-up with the board about culture fit.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For developer advocates, Adyen has a unique interview process. The process asks about their interest in problem-solving that they will have to work on in their job. So, not a programming puzzle but a problem that they would have to work on. For example, how would you create a proposal for the board to introduce a new process in the company that can help the engineers?
For external Developer Advocates, Adyen has a similar process but more tailored to their roles and work.
