Saw an ad on Indeed.com and applied, a few days later I received a call from "Amy" scheduling an interview, during the interview I was not asked about my resume nor background so I found it suspicious. Spoke to Howard Butler, "president". he was very unprofessional and promised to fly me out to Lebanon, TN as soon as I passed the P1 exam. They pressured me into paying for their class to prepare for the exam. as I was on the phone with him, I googled his name along with his company only to find out that its all a huge scam. I then informed him that I am no longer interested in pursuing the entry level position of "actuary analyst". He then proceeded get angry and defensive... another red flag, if this was a real position, he would've just hung up and proceeded to another candidate. we ended the conversation. His assistant then calls me a few minutes later, attempting to gain my business. I informed her that I was pursuing other opportunities. They continued to call me for a couple of weeks after this incident threatening to take me to court for canceling the class that I supposedly signed up for. This company is clearly a scam, do a simple google search and you will find out for yourself.
