Human Resources rep reached out to me to schedule an interview with the hiring manager for one of their specialist roles. A few days before the interview, the rep calls me and asks to reschedule - no problem. On the day of the new rescheduled interview, I join the online meeting room and am in there for 15 minutes, with no one showing up. I leave the meeting room to send an email to the HR rep, but just as I am about to send the email, I get an automated email from their system thanking me for the interview, and after consideration, I was not chosen for the role. What? I didn't even interview with them. I send the note to the HR rep and he informs me there was a mix up with the system not sending the updated meeting link to the hiring manager, which was why he did not get the link, and that he would work on rescheduling another interview with the hiring manager. That was about 3 weeks ago. I reached out since then, and have not heard anything back. The role was also taken off their website, which tells me they completely ghosted me over a screw up by the HR rep. Completely unprofessional and says a lot about how they operate as a financial institution. Glad I didn't end up working with them and found another role that was paying me 3x more for my skills.
