Many thanks for taking time to submit your review. My apologies for having to adjust the temperature in the meeting room twice however the first time I did so it didn't work properly. I am sure this isn't the biggest of your gripes.
We try to give everyone sufficient time to prove they may be right for our business or for the wider industry however we also try to ask questions early on in the interview that help us ascertain quickly whether or not someone will be right for the industry or whether , as in your case, they have little direction and are just chancing their arm.
In respect of my "monologue" I was simply trying to use the time constructively to explain not just why you were not right for Accountancy Action but moreover why I didn't feel you were right for recruitment. I do this often as whilst it can be awkward rejecting someone face to face I believe it helps the candidate better than an impersonal email.
With a website like Glassdoor every rejected candidate is able to have their say and I am sorry you feel the way you do however I can assure you and any one else applying that the environment in our business is very far from hostile.
