I applied through the company's website, and received an email requesting more materials within two weeks, and another email requesting an interview two weeks after that. The interview was a four-hour tour of the company, where I interviewed one-on-one with about seven or eight different people in my potential working group. The interviews themselves were mostly conversational and relaxed - it felt like they'd already made their decision before inviting me to interview. The questions were very general, and I got a lot of time to talk about my projects at a previous job. They took me to lunch in the cafeteria. A few of the interviews were conducted via video chat and telephone, since the HR people and another position I was simultaneously interviewing for were in Bethesda, MD.
