I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AVDS (Minsk) in Nov 2024
Interview
I recently interviewed for an Angular position. I’ve been working in this field for over 7 years, including as a team leader, and I’ve even conducted interviews myself. During the interview, I mentioned that I’d expect detailed feedback, which the interviewers confirmed they would provide.
Out of 30 questions, I answered 29 correctly. Some of the questions were even poorly phrased or incorrect. For example, one question asked about the "difference between guards and providers," which isn’t a valid comparison. This gave me the impression that I knew more about Angular than the interviewers themselves.
If the company cannot meet my rate, why invite me for an interview and waste everyone’s time? Ultimately, the recruiter told me that they chose other candidates and claimed that "7 years of experience wasn’t enough," despite my extensive experience, including team leadership and work on multiple large-scale projects.
In my opinion, the interview went flawlessly, and the process overall left me with the impression that the company doesn’t know how to properly assess senior-level candidates or respect their time.
