Interview
I interviewed here in 2019 for a Production Manager role. It was clear no one had a jewelry or a even a production background from the start and they were just learning on the go. They had me review their 3dm files as the “interview exercise” and make production recommendations on how things could be improved in terms of mechanisms or better jewelry solutions. All fine till I met on of the CEOs in person. When I expressed I was looking for long term advancement in design and product development, they said that in the future they could look into it and called it a side activity that you do “having fun laying on a beach”. This small detail confirmed for me that this company was not serious about a differentiated product offering or design or even jewelry itself. But prioritized turning orders as fast as possible.

Interview
Least professional, most absurd experience ever. HR canceled my interview within the last hour twice, sent a fake link to reschedule (lol the audacity?), didn’t respond when I pointed out that the link didn’t work, sent a canned “thanks for interviewing” rejection email a week later.
I would be less mad if they just never sent an email suggesting that I had interviewed and “told them more about myself.” They could have just said they were moving forward with other candidates at any point and saved me two mornings off that I spent putting makeup on for a zoom interview that would be canceled last minute.
I Was ghosted when I was at the final interview. They were completely irresponsible and always kept rescheduling and being late when it was time to interview. The aesthetic was nice and it seemed like a great place to work but the interview gave it away. Or maybe i just wasn’t the right candidate.
