After applying for the position I was contacted 2 weeks later by a company HR manager who asked me about my background and gave me information about the company, They were polite and informative. After speaking for about 30 minutes, they said they wanted to invite me for an on-site interview, to which I agreed.
Communication with this HR representative was very choppy after our phone screen. It took almost 2 weeks to agree on a date for an on-site interview due to the hiring manager being on vacation and the HR rep getting a promotion and moving to a new site.
The on-site interview process took about 2 hours. I was first interviewed by the the Director of Operations, was given a tour of the facility, then was interviewed by the DVP/Business Unit Manager. The DVP asked 2 or 3 questions about myself and was much quicker.
Overall, I felt as though the interviewers were just going through the motions of the interview process. I was never contacted by the HR rep with feedback or a decision even though I followed up a week after to see if they were considering me for the position.
