Phone interview followed by in person interview. If you pass those, you are then asked to come in and take an examination in all subjects of interest. The process was seamless and everyone I spoke to was very genuine.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AJ Tutoring in Dec 2014
Interview
I sent in my resume in on Craigslist and received a phone call from the owner just half an hour later. We scheduled a phone interview for the next day. I passed and moved on to an in-person interview with three leaders from the company. Got a verbal offer and scheduled a placement test. I got the official email offering me the job a few days later.
A brief phone screening, zoom interview, and an academic assessment to gauge your abilities to tutor your desired subject (don't worry, you don't have to know everything at all! AJ Tutoring pairs you with a current Tutor to help fill any knowledge gaps you have).
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AJ Tutoring (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2022
Interview
First there was 1 impromptu phone interview that included general screening questions. Then there was one more comprehensive video interview where I met with the CEO and they asked more pertinent questions for the job.
