Applied via a third party, was sent a coding test before hearing from the company if they wanted to interview me. Send on a coding test and was given a Skype interview (COVID-19 period). Was asked just to go through CV and was asked if I knew the position I was interviewing was for a XML developer position and not .net. Was told by third party that there was some misunderstanding (complete BS) after the interview however another third party from a different company had told me of this position before (wasn't told the company name but everything matched location and job spec) and informed me of the XML day to day with very little or no .net work been done. I applied since I wasn't completely sure if it was or not that same company but the interviewer confirmed it with what they said. This was repeated in the interview that their was only .net work when something is broken and maybe after a year or two after learning of their system you might move to a team for development work instead of configuration work. The questions (with removed specifications) asked in the coding part will give an idea of how much the position was for XML and not .net.
The process with a complete was of time, thankfully got a offer somewhere else so was able to withdraw from this one.
