Pretty simple interview process:
1)First step is the take home assessment
2) Second step is the culture-fit assessment interview
3) Third step is the manager interview
If you pass all above rounds you make it to the final round.
4) The final round is the panel interview
Nothing intimidating. A very smooth process

Q. Some basic Linux questions
Q. Take home assessment revolved around creating an app using Python.
It's mainly used to judge your problem solving skills/methods.
There was the initial round with the hiring manager. It went well and I was a given take home assignment by a different engineer. I finished the assignment during the weekend. Then discussed the assignment with the engineer. He mentioned I did well and will be going to the next level. Waited for 3 -4 days and there was no communication. Contacted the engineer and the next day I got a rejection mail from the hr. Overall a frustrating experience.

Applied through portal, had an initial phone call with HR who gave very positive reviews and explained the next steps in details. But no response after that - complete silence. I emailed back but never got a reply.
