My friend that worked for 2U submitted my application and cover letter for me, so I was contacted pretty quickly in the beginning. When I was contacted, I was told that they were no longer hiring any more AC’s until 2019 (this was in September), but they would reach back out in November or December if they were going to move forward with me for 2019. I ended up getting a video interview invitation at the end of October, and submitted my video interview a week later, early November. The video interview was different than anything I’ve done, but it wasn’t that difficult. Standard interview questions. I did a lot of research on the company, so make sure you’re fully prepared. I had my phone interview a few days later, then my in-person interview a week after that. The in-person interview was laid-back. I liked the directors that I met with. It had similar questions that the video interview had. After that, it had been 3 weeks since I heard from the recruiter. I emailed her many times and called her and left a voicemail. I thought they just weren’t moving forward with me. I finally heard back and was told I had another video interview, but this time on Google Hangouts that she wanted to set up. I had that a few days later. Same questions, pretty laid back. I really connected with the guy I interviewed with. A week later, the recruiter reached out to me and offered me the position. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, it just was very lengthy. I would prepare a ton for this interview, as I was asked a lot of questions that I probably wouldn’t have known if I didn’t do a lot of research on the company.
