First round with Recruiter, and second round with VP and CFO. Really collaborative conversation, and they were friendly but asked really good inquisitive questions. The didn't grill on technical questions but wanted to gauge how well I understood the business
I was screened n LinkedIn through a head-hunting agency. 1st interview was with the VP of Marketing. The final step was a case study presentation to several senior executives from Marketing, Finance, Corporate Development and the CTO.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at 123Dentist (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2025
Interview
I recently applied for a role at 123Dentist and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with their hiring process.
After my initial conversation, I was asked to add the recruiter on LinkedIn “for the further process.” I was then given a detailed case study to complete. The recruiter also asked highly realistic and technical questions beforehand, giving the impression that the process was moving seriously toward an interview.
I invested a significant amount of time preparing and completing the case study. However, after submitting it, I did not receive any proper interview, discussion, or feedback. Instead, I received a generic rejection email with no explanation.
It felt as though the effort I put into the case study was not valued, and the process lacked transparency and professionalism. Candidates deserve at least a brief conversation or constructive feedback—especially after being asked to complete a detailed assignment.
I hope the company improves its communication and respects the time applicants invest in their process.
