Was sent a short standard questionnaire about reasons for wanting leave my current position, current and expected salary, notice period etc. Went for an initial interview at the office which was about an hour and was then called back for a second round which was a 2-hour technical assessment. After this they ghosted me despite follow-up email a week later.

I went into the office twice (during office hours) for an interview and an assessment. The assessment was two hours long. Afterwards, I was completely ghosted, even after following up. A simple "sorry, we went with someone else" would have taken just a few seconds. Instead, I was just left wondering. This is so disrespectful to applicants, especially considering the time I spent coming into the office and doing assessments (for free). In the end it was a blessing in disguise to not be hired here but the whole thing was a huge waste of time.
