What is the salary like at Ubisoft?

Good workforce let down by incompetent management.

      Pros

Great colleagues, diverse and talented workforce, nice offices. You will gain new skills and enjoy your working environment.

      Cons

Pay is decent but won't keep up with inflation, entrenched culture of working unpaid overtime, upper management is at best out-of-touch. Be prepared to work on trend-chasing projects that will be irrelevant long before they can be completed, with colleagues that only shared 1-2 hours of timezone with you.

Good benefits and office amenities, but trust is broken.

      Pros

Good benefits, decent pay, beautiful office woth plenty of activities, lounges and an on-site clinic and gym. Plenty of room for improvement.

      Cons

They broke promises and hurt the trust of their employees with blatant disregard.

Good stable company with lower salary than other large companies in the industry

      Pros

Good vibe, Employees are almost all gamers, nice office & location

      Cons

Low salary, no evolution except management, BS hypocrisy about employee well being, too many meetings and coworkers playing video games during work time, awfully blurry management and leadership, PC culture of silence, no reward of efforts

      Pros

      Cons

I don't have any cons really... Maybe too much people to report too.

Feel somewhat gaslit by this company

      Business outlook

      Pros

The tech and the talent in the studio is immense. Great tech stack (at least in my team) Excellent experience and quality

      Cons

The salaries are exploitatively low and they abuse people from other countries with seriously ridiculous salaries and lower leave days than German companies. HR policies are deceptive and only evoke distrust. RTO policy as shadow layoffs. Any criticism immediately causes defensiveness and anger. If you complain, might as well put a target on your back. German studio tries to stifle Betriebsrat creation at every turn.

      Cons

Very low salary, very little opportunities for growth, networking and being a yes-person is valued more than work and actual contribution
