They completely disbanded the contract operations team, which towards the end was just one person who had just won an award for most recognition in the quarter. We all depended on her so much for all things account related. They outsourced the department to a third party company, based in Mexico and it just hasn’t been the same. I heard they wouldn’t give the employee her severance unless she trained the group of people taking over her role, which was an eye-opening experience to see how Spear “values” their employees. Ever since the new CEO was named, the whole organization has been in shambles. Unrealistic sales expectations, no support anymore, all these new initiatives, but completely broken (and way too many) systems and processes to successfully implement them. Return to office/hybrid mandate was a bad move too.
