Pros
Unique office setting. Which is about all it has going for it.
Cons
Shame you can’t give lower than 1 star. Simply avoid at all costs. I joined with high hopes and stagnated here, becoming a mere number that was eventually tossed aside for cost cutting, which has been favoured over quality and is showing in their products. Low motivation, high workload, terrible communications and a HR department that’s about as useful as a 1940s European border. The company is being run into the ground by ignoring what made it so successful, its people. The senior leadership team are running the company on fear and middle management are stuck in an unforgiving loop - they know changes need to happen but don’t have the power to do anything. You’ll be expected to work miracles for people that won’t follow process and you get little to no protection from managers who just allow others to walk in the back door so to speak. I’ve seen some incredibly skilled people fall here and careers have just halted. They offer near zero development opportunities, internal roles “vanish” or are suddenly withdrawn and they removed half the useful software as part of the cost cuts. They want you to do 3/4 different roles but pay under market rates for the 1 you are hired for. Don’t expect to see a bonus for the hard work either. Think “pizza party” type rewards. I’ve developed more in 3 weeks since finally jumping ship than in 4 years here. Don’t fall for the big name.
