The Glasgow Waterloo street office is like a big call centre its too noisy and busy. Overworked staff and no replacements for staff who leave, remaining staff expected to pick up the slack with no reward or appreciation. Cost cutting ongoing no travel allowed with job losses looming due to the down turn in the renewables industry, not a nice atmosphere due to this. Managers interpret rules differently depending on whether they like you or not. Limited options for promotion. Pay generally lower than others.

Like all big companies, takes a while to get things done

The company ethos makes for a positive working environment. There are excellent benefits including share save schemes and enhanced maternity/paternity pay. Flexible working is offered and they operate a hybrid model allowing home working.

Salary increases in the legal team were poor year on year.

Poor management. No support for mental health or wellbeing.
