Pros
- Decent salary - Some employees are great - CEO is an inspiring leader - CTO's technical knowledge is exceptional
Cons
- Management are not the people they lead you to believe. - R1i Technology has a reputation (even with its clients) for BDM's not lasting. They hire BDM's, use them for as many new meetings as possible, and then show them the door just before their probation period has finished. - They will glorify your performances, and then slowly manipulate you out of the business. Highlighting even tiny mistakes whilst you're learning, in a loud of bold manner, to make removing you from the business 'justifiable'. - The current Sales Director is incredibly toxic, and manipulative. A background check is definitely needed. - Engineering team are treated like pawns. Not spoken to with any shred of respect, and consistently belittled. - Deceives its clients, with big tender responses to government agencies (Department of Education) about its extensive 'anti-bullying' policy, but consistently bully's employees and uses 'banter' as a scapegoat. - Department of Health was meant to be one of my primary clients, However I was strung along and told every week "we will do the handover next week", for 3 months. I wasn't allowed to make a single phone call to my main client. Finally the Sales Director said he would do the handover, and for me to finalise all of my notes that I had been working on. Only for me to walk into that meeting and have my employment terminated. "Its nothing to do with performance, you're just not a good fit for the business" Same thing that they say to every other BDM "You just don't have the hunter mentality". You could have organised more new meetings than the management team combined, they will still tell you the same thing. The Glassdoor review that's positive is from an existing employee, that is not in a position to be able to speak his mind freely. Save your mental health and don't join this house of cards.
