Toxic work culture and stagnant management structure
Pros
I worked at Naukri.com, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The work culture is deeply toxic, with micromanagement, favoritism, and an outdated mindset dominating daily operations. There’s little room for creativity or autonomy — employees are expected to follow rigid, hierarchical instructions without question. One of the most frustrating aspects is the entrenched middle and senior management. Many individuals have been in their roles for years and are resistant to change or fresh perspectives. Rather than fostering talent or encouraging growth, they often block opportunities for others to rise in the organization. This results in a highly politicized environment where performance and innovation take a backseat to appeasement and alignment with power structures. Career progression is slow and heavily influenced by internal politics, not merit. If you’re ambitious and want to grow, this is not the place for you. Feedback is rarely constructive, and leadership lacks transparency and a future-focused vision.
Cons
Toxic culture, outdated leadership, lack of growth, internal politics
