How are the career development opportunities at Murphy USA?

I get a lifetime max on Fertility benefits. Commission is great during the warmer months for kiosk stores. District manager is great! Monthly contest against other stores are always fun. Not many people to oversee.

You are required to work 50 hours on your salary (mine is the minimum and I've been there 5 years) and only get a small raise each year while watching your hourly employees get their yearly raise plus minimum wage going up raise. Hourly employees will make more working only 5 hours of overtime each week while you're required to work 10 hour over. There is no work life balance because you are required to keep your store open when others call out. Too much is expected for so little pay and zero recognition.

Great salary..rewarding…if you are staffed great work life balance

Tight demand hours. Low pay for hourly. Not much advancement opportunities

Fast growth opportunities. The manager I worked for was great.

Mine was personal. I didn't have adequate transportation. Getting to and from work was costing more than I was making. No cons for the company.

I had a lot of opportunities for growth. I had simple and straightforward responsibilities.

The stores would get very busy and I was the only one there at times.
