What is working from home like at McKesson?

      McKesson reviews

Great autonomy and is 100% work from home.

      Cons

      Very toxic culture

      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

The work from home model is great for flexibility,

      Cons

A lot of managers (especially female unfortunately) are very toxic. The entire work environment is very disorganized and different teams not only do not communicate well, but they also attempt to directly sabotage each other. We are even explicitly told that we can not trust our managers because managers are toxic and attempt to undermine subordinates. New employees are constantly being hired for this reason and many people chose to leave. I would never recommend this place to anyone

      Good Company, Horrible Leadership

      Senior business process consultant
      Former employee
      Irving, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      - Good Health Benefits and employee incentive programs. - ESPP is very competitive and with a substantial discount. - The main HQ office is new and refreshed, with good on-site amenities. - Flexible work options and good WFH policy

      Cons

      - Mediocre pay - Toxic, micromanaging leadership. Perfect embodiment of the Peter Principle. - Leadership does not live up to the McKesson Values, initiates highly inappropriate workplace discussions, and WILL retaliate against you for speaking up with concerns - - by PIPing you over non-quantitative and highly-subjective performance metrics never previously discussed. - After failure to overcome said PIP and termination, McKesson fights you tooth and nail for any unemployment claim and will characterize the reason for your termination as due to employee misconduct.
