How is management perceived at Lument?

Great work like balance. Nice office in Dallas.Nice coworkers.

Lower salary compared to market. Some managers are micro managers. They use a system to track what youre doing. Work load can be high and when you don’t meet expectations, that will put you on a PIP.

Good work life balance, decent pay and benefits.

Work expectations are unrealistic. Management is very incompetent and a lot of decisions made are all over the place. Lots of toxic office politics and leadership. They micromanage and immediately want to put you on a performance plan if you start struggling. They pick and choose who they want to develop as a leader and who doesn’t. Takes too long to get promoted.

Easygoing teams. Management is supportive and overall the firm has relatively strong work/life balance.

Teams can be siloed. There isn’t a lot of support for internal mobility.

Manager care about the team and allow us to get work done. Work life balance is excellent.

Parent company has a lot of red tape.

Great company culture. LSAM team really cares about your development.

Fails to pay managers in line with market.

Decent culture, solid benefits, nice PTO package.

It may be isolated to particular managers, but shadow politics occur. Exceptionally high workload

Fully remote possible, decent pay, bonuses

Leadership is bad, really bad. They rule through fear and control. The micromanaging is next level. Daily workload status updates to management. Quarterly employee reviews instead of annual. They track your online time and level of activity, ie how much time you spend typing and clicking. The process changes are constant and usually for the worse. Unrealistic expectations. There's alot of turnover, people leave all the time. I would strongly urge anyone to consider any option outside of Lument.

Work is interesting and has good systems and IT department.

Poor managers who think they know everything and it is a privilege to work there .
