Pros
Some good employees; some name recognition
Cons
Zero gas reimbursement. The culture is a "locker room, frat boy" kind of workplace and they certainly hire and promote with that in mind, especially management. Training is almost non-existent and certainly not sufficient to ensure your success. They expect you to lie to the customer- they do not own BCI acrylic (the product they use for the walls) but it is a part of the presentation to the homeowner. If you run a lead for a homeowner who expects a free shower, they want you to lie to them and tell them we must "see if they qualify" by putting them through a quote and a presentation. Inside sales, AKA "Phone Room", employees are combative and conniving, and whether that is at the direction of upper management or on their own accord, I am not sure. The company itself will not back you up- meaning if you are bitten by a dog or sued by a customer, you are not protected and they do not care. The presentation itself in Ingage leaves a lot to be desired and does not provide the reps with what we need to sell well. We are told to tell customers that our Installers are trained at "our" BCI facility in Illinois for 6 mos, but again, Leaf does not own it. There are numerous complaints online about our Installers and process and I received many, too. Many projects are left undone after the first day and do not finish up until weeks later. They have zero intention of trying to retain sales reps and I saw 90 percent our team walk out after a few months. Upper Management can be very abusive and extremely unprofessional at times. There is nothing that matters to them except percentages and numbers and you are nothing more than a tool and they treat you accordingly. They do not recognize major holidays and you will be expected to work. They will run you into the ground and have you chasing 3 leads a day multiple days in a row, which means you could potentially leave your house at 8am and get home at 11pm and do it all again the next day and expect you to sit through appointments they never should have scheduled. I wish I had kept better records and notes of my time there because I would be contacting an attorney.
