What is the salary like at Insomnia Cookies?

On the job training and flexible hours. Decent pay and lots of opportunity to move up. The late night shift allowed time for part time school and I'm already a night owl so it was a good fit.

We worked with the late night crowd so we saw a lot of characters. 97% of our customer base were awesome. They just wanted their cookie sandwich fix on a Friday night or a 6 pack of cookies after church. Conflict resolution skills were important for the remaining 3%

Night shift isn't that bad.

No consistency, low pay, petty coworkers.

Coworkers and manager were chill and nice, get a free six pack/pint of ice cream weekly, Pay was okay (after hassling corporate for a year for better pay to line up with the store's sales).

Company sucks in general. They make the worst decisions for the people that actually work in the store (ex. extending baking for deliveries until we close, getting upset at low waste count but also mad if we have high waste, refused to raise location's pay even though sales were doing better than the downtown location, which had a higher pay rate than us) Gets very busy from 8PM-1AM and the rushes are the worst. Can be labor intensive if your coworkers are lazy and need micromanaging to help around the store.
