      Pros

Casual dress code, many positions involve remote work

      Cons

Uneven promotions and raises between departments, in most cases the only way to secure a promotion or substantial raise is to transfer to a different department. Poor middle management rewards obedience, any attempts to promote change or innovation are often met with resistance or retaliation. Remote work has further exacerbated the situation with many employees and managers largely "checked out" during business hours, failing to respond to messages in a timely manner if at all. The employee review process is largely an exercise in remaining in compliance with business practices rather than resulting in improving performance and overall quality assurance.
