-As a DA , you're going to get the most diverse experience ever
-you have fast paced and slower paced offices ,so you're bound to find an office where you fit
-when you come in with a goal to advance in dentistry , you will be supported by your doctors and management
-offices have the latest technology allowing all levels to practice even more effectively and offer greater patient care
-opportunities to bonus are available
-pay is usually much higher than private practice
-pretty flexible schedule (normally 4 days min with a possible 1/2 day)
Cons
-patient care is not the priority as they will make it seem
-opening so many new locations , but not enough man power to properly staff , fully train, and properly support the needs of the current and new practices
-constant understaffing which causes a greater workload and longer days
-high turnover at every level
-long waits for new patient exams
- NC (Triad / Kernersville region) has no black managers
- Team members are rarely truly fired for bad behavior, they're simply transferred to another location to continue their bad behavior
-NC (Triad /Kernersville region)does not support black doctors, so they are leaving just as quickly as they are coming
-NC (Triad/ Kernersville region) does not have any full time black hygienists....only temps
-NC (Triad/ Kernersville region) high level management adds to the confusion instead of creating supportive work environments
-profit, metrics, and numbers are priority number 1.
-your reward for meeting and/or exceeding you practice goals is a higher goal and more work!
-NC (Triad/ Kernersville region) is an area where you're always looking over your shoulder because you can not trust the office managers, regional managers , or the manager above them.
-Kernersville is not safe for minorities.
-Expectations of DAs are not realistic
-Getting a lunch can be a hit if its a high volume office, and you better not hit overtime!
