      Pros

Forward thinking, great culture, flexible working and opportunities to get involved in lots of different projects. The company really value everyone as a person and care about the wellbeing of their employees.

      Cons

Very fast-paced which can be good but things are constantly changing and are never settled. Turnover of staff is quite high which is a shame.

      Pros

Good benefits (hybrid, flexible schedule, extra annual leave days)

      Cons

Top to bottom communication could be better. Some people are not cut out to be managers, and while they may 'follow a script' it feels like if they don't like you they are out to get you. Being a manager is about people skills, and some people are just not cut out for these positions.

Thanks for your feedback. It’s good to hear that you think we’ve got it right with our benefit offering and approach to hybrid working. In an ever-changing, fast-paced employment market we work really hard to make GWI the best job you ever had which is why it’s disheartening to hear about your experience with your line manager. We have various bespoke in-house leadership training pathways for managers, so we try hard to ensure all our managers have the support and guidance required in order to make them a great people manager. As much as our People & Culture team would love to be able to mentor each and every manager, in an org of our size, this just isn’t possible. We encourage regular feedback through pulse surveys and eNps surveys, plus encourage all teams to have skip-level one-to-ones. Our People Partnering team is also always on hand to support colleague/manager conversations, and I’m sorry you didn’t feel able to raise your concerns about your manager through these channels. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. Regards, Rachel People Lead

You can check this out from a job description such as unlimited sick holiday, flexible working hours, really enhanced maternity & paternity leave, amazing work-life balance culture and many more. I love to leave a feedback to GWI and my team. To GWI; - No complaint about company policies which shows flexibility, work & life balance, benefits & perks and many more! - Strong relationship among people. - Working with real professionals - Amazing office location (Farringdon) About my Team; I spent 1 year as a Salesforce Administrator, part of a RevOps team. Vickie was the greatest manager I have ever worked with. Annie was the most thoughtful and harder worker leader. And many more in the team were great personalities. I never felt odd in my team due to my different background. They always encourage me to make difference in our operations. They are the greatest team I've ever seen in the UK. Lastly, appreciate Tom (CEO-Founder) to create this kind of unique company culture.

      Cons

I believe that all companies have some difficulties however, it depends on where you look from. GWI is a scale-up culture. So you need to work hard to contribute more than other corporate culture. But it does not kill you means make you stronger.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your detailed review. We're delighted to hear how much you valued your experience with GWI! We are pleased you enjoyed the flexibility, work life balance, benefits and office environment, as well as the relationships with your colleagues (we agree, our GWI-ers are pretty all round awesome!). Thank you also for your kind words to your team. So glad you felt included and valued. Vickie, Annie and Tom will all be thrilled to hear that they made a strong impression on you during your time with us. We acknowledge that as a scale up, we are often creating new process and looking for continual improvements. It's great having enthusiastic GWIers with us for the journey, helping us to elevate and grow! Thanks again for providing us with this feedback. Jenny (People Lead)

      Constant change and poor leadership

      Pros

Flexible working set ups (wfh, flex hours), good PTO, summer Fridays

      Cons

This used to be an amazing place to work, but the various layoffs and reorganizations in the past couple of years have been handled poorly and often dont make sense nor improve working conditions. Communication around changes is poor and it seems the company/senior leadership no longer values its employees. The company doesn’t live up to its core value of show respect. Motivation is low because there’s no sense of job security even for long-tenured and high performing employees. It used to feel like senior leaders genuinely cared about employees and appreciated us but lately it feels like we’re just viewed as cogs in a machine.

      Pros

Here’s a polished and engaging version of your Glassdoor review: **Pros:** This company truly prioritizes its people, ensuring that employees feel heard, valued, and welcomed. The culture is inclusive, and leadership fosters an environment where everyone belongs. Work-life balance is excellent—I never feel overworked or stressed, and the company actively supports maintaining a healthy balance. Communication is open and transparent, with regular pulse checks to address any concerns and continuously improve the employee experience. Expectations are realistic, and there’s always support available to help you succeed in your role. The flexible work schedule is a huge plus, and when you're in the office, the atmosphere is fun, collaborative, and stress-free. I often tell my family and friends about the amazing perks and workplace culture, and they can’t believe a company like this exists.

      Cons

Honestly, no real cons. No company is perfect, but any minor imperfections here are so insignificant that they don’t impact my experience. I’d really be stretching just to list something in this section.

      Pros

Some really great people - both as people but also very highly skilled in their domain Genuine flexible working

      Cons

GWI was once a genuinely great place to work. The people and the culture that grew organically were central to its success and that culture has been steadily eroded. I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have no issue adapting to change. But there's a difference between agility and whiplash, and the constant shifts in priorities and messaging from leadership have become exhausting rather than energizing. Restructures and redundancies are a reality of corporate life and I accept that. What's harder to accept is the sense that major decisions are being made without data, without input from those closest to the work, and without genuine regard for employee wellbeing. We're told that decisions are informed by feedback, but that feedback clearly isn't reaching the people most affected - so changes land as a shock rather than something anyone was prepared for. There's a growing feeling that employees are disposable, no matter how much value you add. What makes this worse is that it wasn't always this way. Communication through periods of change used to be handled with care and empathy. That's largely disappeared. The volume of Glassdoor reviews probably tells its own story: when people don't feel heard internally, they find other ways to be heard. For a long time this was a company worth going above and beyond for. That sense of mutual investment is strained and the disengagement is palpable. There also seems to be a meaningful imbalance in how different parts of the business are valued. Revenue-facing functions receive a disproportionate amount of attention, while research, data, and product functions are routinely underappreciated by those who don't fully understand what they contribute.

      Pros

The people here really made it special. I guess the camaraderie between us all working through tough times was truly the best part.

      Cons

      - The salaries here are an absolute joke. The bands between roles could be 25k between a mid level and senior role. - The amount of redundancies that we lived through, for a 400 person company was astounding. I have never worked in a place where each org faced redundancies at different times (maybe to prevent a collective consultation?) - They'd hire in 'leadership' with zero experience, let them change everything, then we'd watch them (suspiciously and quietly) disappear. Paying people off to leave is a signature move of GWI. - Hired on the pretence it would be fully remote (job description did NOT say there was a mandatory day in the office). Then they upped it to two days for no reason. Even when you try to do the right thing and request a flexible working request, it gets denied because "changes are coming". So people now HAVE to come in twice a week to sit on virtual meetings - Planning and executing a Sales Kick Off during a redundancy consultation period is absolutely insane and a kick to those people already down (especially when cost cutting is a reason) - Leadership who use AI like no tomorrow. Full FY plans quite obviously created by AI that we were to follow to a T - The values meant absolutely nothing. If your leadership can't live them, why should we? - The people that are still there are only there because they have LOTS of shares and are hoping one day they'll be able to sell them (good luck) - Product roadmap decisions change with the wind - The Marketing restructure was hugely detrimental to morale and I think spelled the end of things - Absolutely no opportunity to progress.
