Pros
1. You can start pretty much off the bat, the recruitment process is fairly easy just need a microphone and laptop and you're good to go.
2. They have really good format for virtual teaching and its really seamless.
3. They offer average pay, the more you take classes the more you earn.
4. 25 minutes per class and a 5 minute wait time in between, not too bad.
Cons
1. The only way you will earn good money here is if you let go of all your social obligations and take like 10 classes a day. Ofcourse, if you start at 7 in the morning you can be done by 6 in the evening (including 2 hours of break). But it gets so monotonous and some days, the students are not cooperative at all. It can really put a toll on your mentals.
2. The Pay is oh so not fair. I got paid $1.44 per class, when my rating was never below 4.8 out of 5. That is such a low ball pay and the amount of effort that you give will never equal the ROI.
3. You get all kinds of students, most are good, but some are the thickest humans on the face of the planet with negative English knowledge. You're face will be hurting at the end of those lessons trying to fake smile and not be in control of the ratings.
4. Oh yeah, ratings, you can be down from 4.8 to 3.5 with just a couple of 2 or 3 star ratings from students. So yeah, get the thick students and be prepared to see all your 100s of hours of hardwork be put through the drain in 25 minutes.
