What is the hiring process like at Discord?

Discord's interview process was a well designed welcome to the inside of the company. I learned about the company's values, business strategy, and how to use Discord through the intentionality baked into the process. Being on the inside, I see the company stack its operating rhythms in ways that focus on business objectives and enable employee participation in meaningful ways. I'm very optimistic about how I see the company being led.

There is a learning curve to use Discord for internal communications.

I’m new here and it’s already been a great experience. From the interview process through onboarding and now, everything has been pretty smooth. The culture is fun, but the work is meaningful and challenging. I get to work alongside incredibly smart and genuine people, which is such a refreshing combination.

I recently joined Discord and had an awesome onboarding experience. The best part is using Discord at work! I had never used it before and love the features, communicating in gifs and ease of accessing information. I've been geeking out from the start and have so much fun learning all about the use cases. Excited for the future outlook of Discord and being part of building an incredible product for our community.

I'm still too new to see any cons. For more tenured employees, they've definitely gone through and seen a lot of change. But I'm hopeful for our future and what some of the new leaders will bring to the company.
