What is the hiring process like at DHL Supply Chain?

High turnover, instead of hiring more people, they put routes together

Plenty of work, 4 days on and 3 days off. You'll end working 50hrs average a week, easily hit 46k-50k without doing extra days. Also great experience for new drivers as they hire, even drivers who are planning to go from class 2 to 1, its a good place to level up.

Long hours, difficult routes, sometimes double digit amount of drops. No social life for the 4 days your working and u spend 3 days resting up because your mentally and physically fatigued l.

Borderline burn out. Large workload, even at full capacity tasked/responsible to do more. Luck of draw to be apart of great team with good management. Need to keep moving around applying internally to find good fit.

Nothing positive I can say

Long recruitment process and document verification. I was confirmed then I booked my flight. One week before arrival I was told that my application is not going forward. I spoke with recruitment, she said all documents were sent through - so one of the parties definitely lied. My best guess is, they had someone they wanted to hire and wasted my time, made me resign from my job and waste more than 200 euros on a flight then they didn't even bother apologizing. Disgusting company.

Favoritism exists in hiring decisions

The warehouse was new at the time, so the management was quite easy to work with.

Some of the other managers tend to micromanage.

I was blessed to have a location with competent management, helpful workers, and an overall good environment. The Interns generally work on their own personal project, and are later introduced into their capstone project. Both are generally challenging, but not unachievable, and it pushes you to learn the process and to figure out a process improvement. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend for people looking for an internship where you will be treated properly, as well as learn a ton!
