What are some insights into the application process at DBS Bank?

Barely above average benefits compared to the competition (if you can call this a pro even)

- upper management doesn't care about code quality, would rather engineers spend time fixing bugs than taking time to produce a stable application - upper management is short sighted. doesn't seem to know what they're doing at times (e.g. hiring 10 QAs for every 1 dev for some unknown reason) - upper management avoids questions about welfare or gives non-sequiturs as answers (e.g. when asked about WFH, management says the office facilitates for better discussion. can be true depending on who you ask, but forgets that half of the project team works in India)

Supprtive and approachable mentors and managers. Exposure to real world projects helped me in understanding the workflow. Learned about AGILE, and application design with business perspective.

Having clear roadmap from day 1 would have helped me align faster and contribute more confidently
