This place makes you imbalanced as a human being. Aside from toxic culture... low pay and long working hours, you feel completely burn out mentally here. CPCM treat their staff indifferent depends who you wayang to. Poorly run company due to inexperience young managers. Their culture makes you feel “forced" and manipulated to do overtime to show you are hardworking. Some have multiple health issues after working here (1 staff have difficulty conceiving due to the stress) as staff work till very late nights. CCTVS all around even in offices. Every desk has a CCTV recording. Who can work in peace? Their designers also complained in-house design "official" merchandises are not approved by licensors before their launch and hence the lack of quality and design standards. Lack of staff to promote as the turnover rate is crazy! Every 1-2month different staff. Senior Managers can play games, take snacks and slack but it's ok cause they are long with company.. You take your last salary in the office, HRs walk over and ask you to get out of the office. They give the "you don't belong here anymore" face. And they do it a few times. What a way to treat your ex-staff! What a he*ll place. What a shame CPCM.

- Standard contract states a 9-hour workday. -Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) are technically scheduled off.

- Extreme hours shifts: routinely stretch from 12 to over 20 hours daily. Management forces you to finish all tasks before leaving, nothing is allowed to carry over the next day. - Toxic Environment: Heavy favoritism of department heads who are close to the boss abuse their power, and the boss ignores it out of fear of losing them. - Exploitative Transport Policy: For offsite event setups past midnight, management expects you to travel home on your own dime and refuses to pay for late-night transport. (Due to you did not work 12hrs) - No benefits or work life balance: Zero work-life balance ("work till you die" culture). - No proper on-the-job training or onboarding.

- Lack of proper on-the-job training - Toxic environment (colleagues not willing to teach and communicate) - Lack of teamwork - High turnover due to the crazy hours and no OT pay - No one is going to take whoever roles, some inferior complex might be going on, if you are capable, your position will be secured, so be more helpful instead of worrying about newcomers.

-Plenty of chio bu coming to the shop for you to flirt with, if you can :P -Some regular customers are friendly and nice. -Good place to train your patience :) -China and Burmese colleagues are friendly and nice.

-Dirt pay for singaporeans. -Most customers treat you poorly, and have no respect nor patience with you, which is why you keep hearing that CPCM staff are rude. Too much abuse can make us resentful over time. -Too understaffed for their high workload. -Working environment maybe too loud for some, and also need to walk ALOT. -HR & alot of superiors will treat you poorly. -If you are a slow learner, prepare to be bullied by both colleagues & superiors alike. -Bonus &Incentives are so bad, might as well don’t get them. -If soft spoken type will also get bullied by colleagues and superiors alike. -Poor work life balance, as you would be too tired to do anything on your first offday. -Need to work for years before you see any prospects of career advancement. -A very strong boot-licking culture here.
