      Pros

Easy hiring process and decent training

      Cons

Expected to work alone with no brakes and even bathroom breaks are difficult because you're by yourself especially if you work at a very busy location You're expected to manage an entire store and still get low wages.

Unethical, inappropriate, joke of an HR team

      Inside sales team lead
      Current employee

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

You get to get paid (not a lot) to watch as the sink is shipping. Learning what not to do when launching a product.

      Cons

Disrespectful and unqualified management, shady hiring and promoting tactics, not going to lie it’s a very WHITE company - you feel it the second you join. Sexist. Vile comments made and reported but nothing done.

      Avoid

      Assistant manager
      Former employee
      Thonotosassa, FL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Sometimes you get a get manager. My hiring manager was amazing, I even followed him when he changed stores once. He eventually moved into the corporate level though.

      Cons

Sometimes you don't. My last manager was stealing I'm pretty sure. I put in the paperwork notes over and over asking for the store to be random audited which never happened. I was fired after being removed from a schedule because my manager wanted to deny a vacation I request put in 6 months in advance a week and a half before the trip. Then added me back to it after I left without informing me till the minute I was suppose to be clocking in.

      Pros

Simple tasks and easy to complete

      Cons

      Very busy for little pay

A lot to be desired - stole my first year PTO

      Assistant manager
      Current employee
      Bonneau, SC
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Decent pay and benefits, I suppose.

      Cons

When hired as a Lead CSR I was full time and supposed to receive PTO. Before my first year was up the hiring manager quit and we got a new manager that continued my hiring manager's lies. I have been there for 2 years and my first year PTO was stole from me and I have never been able to sign up for any benefits (health, dental and vision)

      Unfair dismissal

      Former employee

      Pros

It was fun and easy going

      Cons

Management did not investigate issue at hand. Did not ask questions.

      Matt's experience as a cashier

      Cashier
      Current employee
      Calgary, AB
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Great place to be on my own in peace. Nice small store and it's easy to run.

      Cons

I showed an interest in managing the store like I wanted to to. It would have been a perfect fit. I did everything I could to the best job possible because I wanted a good reference from the manager. Things were going great so far until manager sold the store to different business owners. I did the best I could with these new business owners, but they reduced my hours without telling me why. I expressed interest in getting more hours. Next thing I know I was let go because "this wasn't what I was looking for." This completely sabotaged my goal of getting a good reference in pursuing my career in data science. My former manager insulted my self-worth without any merit for it when he said "yeah well he's not the manager..." I'm not stupid I know exactly what it meant and it wasn't received well. I was being perfectly honest and transparent to my former manager, but some managers punish people for telling the truth. I don't take lightly to people who punish the truth when I genuinely made every effort to do as best I can. This was just a convenience store and so the job was super easy. It goes to show that it's the people you work for that make all the difference in a job you do regardless of it's difficulty and not the job itself. Be careful who you work for particularly with people who place superficial judgements on you to the point where your genuine efforts are sabotaged.

      False promises

      Assistant manager
      Former employee
      Prattville, AL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      Pay, flexibility, customers are great

      Cons

My only problem was I was hired under the guise I would be training to become a store manger as I have that experience and was looked over
