Pros
Pay is good, benefits are good, but the benefits were a lot better before all the foundations combined into BPI. Outstanding IT department. Friendly people in all departments. good work life balance. Ability to work remotely. They do a lot for their employees to keep us happy. Ice cream and food trucks, holiday party, gift cards around the holidays. I haven't had a bad experience in all the years I've been here. This company is very diverse which I love.
Cons
I have no real cons with BPI. My issue is and will be: BPI will be under Brown University Health (lifespan) soon. Jobs will be cut and I feel it's time to look elsewhere. No IT person will want to work for Lifespan's IT knowing their track record. I sometimes deal with their IT support and it's the worst. Too bad BPI isn't taking over Lifespan, because IT support would be top notch for all.
