mid-management is not great, pay is bad, bad health insurance (very expensive and high in-network costs), little career growth

Good team, Higher pay than most entry-level IT jobs, Decent level of independence.
Cons
Medical staff can become annoyed when we have to upgrade devices. Micromanaged at times. Very tight department budget. Hard to move up into higher-level positions or more technically advanced positions within the company. Lots of driving at times, but you are paid for your mileage.
