What is the salary like at Ames Construction?

Lots of hours, great pay, family like atmosphere, room for advancement if wanted

Lots of hours, lack of home/family time, if you can't work the hours, they get rid of you, if you show any sort of weakness as a supervisor, they exploit it to their benefit, preach about men's mental health and how they are all about it but if you have any sort of mental health issues arise with yourself they have no more use for you and in the end if you don't get it situated on your own and quickly they will ultimately dispose of you.

Learn a lot about construction, seeing growth for the economy.

Hard workers get nothing while theft of hours by connected supervisors for their pet employees, supervisors propositioning the female crew, and huge per diem, while other employees struggle to make ends meet, is disgusting. Most jobs are low paying, The Project Manager is too young and inexperienced, but no one else would accept the low pay for the job, so the site isn't run well at all. Just because supervisors can build roads and clear land doesn't mean they follow laws correctly or have decency.

Old school mentality makes it difficult to fit in if you are coming from a progressive environment.

Good benefits, Yearly raise to account for livable wages is 3%.

Pay was good and there are a lot of great people. You can have plenty of conversation with every level of the company all the way up to the president.

Solar division was shut down unexpectedly ,but a lot of time was given to relocate and they compensated us very well.

There is no career path for project schedulers. If you are a scheduler you will always be a scheduler. The Rocky Mountain region senior scheduler is a terrible manager and even worse leader.
