What is the salary like at AlphaSights?

      AlphaSights reviews

Great Place to work with lots of opportunities to grow

      Manager
      Current employee
      New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Great people, no outside hiring for leadership roles, great pay, flexibility within the role to get the skills you want out of it

      Cons

      None if you are motivated

      Wasting your time here.

      Associate

      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Lots of responsibility High Salary and earning potential Decent Exit Opportunities

      Cons

High-Mid Management is very shoddy. They made multiple changes that forced associates to leave or hurt pay. Prepare to work 70+ hour weeks and be online on weekends as needed. The high salary is terrible when compared to the amount of hours you work and there is no overtime.

      Pros

Good benefits, decent pay right out of college, great people who work there

      Cons

Not good work-life balance, high expectations (that are sometimes unrealistic), some great management and some not great

      Amazing first job after graducation!

      Business outlook

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Good workplace atmosphere and decent pay

      Cons

bad work life balance, micromanagement and no long-term progression plan for the roles

Honestly, exit opportunity is great, but the job itself destroys your soul and happiness

      Client service associate
      Current employee
      New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      - Good pay out of Undergrad, I wouldn't consider it if I'm a grad student. - I've seen a lot of people going to top MBA and top firms across all industries, but honestly becoming a manager makes it easier to do so.

      Cons

      - I work like 12-14 hours a day, no joke - Not all teams are created equally, depending on who's your manager and what team you are in, you either will have an amazing first job experience, or you'll just age like 10 years after working for 1 year.

      Client services associate
      Current employee
      New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

The people are great, pay is good

      Cons

Hours, work can lead to high burnout

Don’t work here unless you have no other offers

      Client service associate
      Former employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

They try their best to give it a college feel. The unofficial motto is basically “we suffer together”

      Cons

No work life balance, almost impossible metrics, never good enough, Pay is not worth the all work you’ll do. This is essentially a cold call sales role. The corporate equivalent of selling knives door to door
