JOB DESCRIPTION

The Software Requirements Engineer is the interface to many internal stake holders in a project and responsible for analyzing system requirements and system Architecture, deriving Software Requirements and providing them to the rest of SW Team. Software Requirements Engineer has to trace software requirements to System Architecture elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organizes and leads the review process of software requirements;
Implements the Requirements Plan (Metrics Concepts, Tracebility Concept, Document Structure, Requirements Structure etc.);
Has full ownership of the software Requirements and acts as the first contact;
Support the software Architect to understand the software requirements;
Support the software architect to trace the requirements into Architecture;
Supports the software Architect to implement the software Requirements into Architecture;
Supports software Test to write software Test Cases;
Support software Test to write software Tests KPI’s;
Support the software Test to define Validation Criteria;
Supports the analysis of the change requests/defects from requirements point of view and provides effort estimates;
Supports the Requirement Manager to assess the overall Change Request/Defect effort;
Actively pursue cost saving ideas;
Works with Engineering Program Management to provide feasibility and planning information;
Oversees and supports life cycle engineering activities using defined processes and standards;
Participates in internal and external technical reviews, as required;
Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations;
Aware of Automotive-SPICE Standard;
Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to software;
Work assignments primarily involve intermediate through advanced level work, moving toward complete technical competency and mastery of the field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with SWE.1 (Software Requirements Engineering)
Good ASPICE and V Model knowledge
Experience with Classic AUTOSAR

Experience with one or more of the following software functionalities:

Vehicle Communication
CAN
Ethernet
Network Management
ECU Handling
Mode Management
Degradation
System Monitoring
Flashing and Bootloader
Ideally Vector specific
Diagnostics
DoIP
DTC
UDS
Video and Audio Streaming
Video over RTP / Ethernet
Security
SecOC (Secure Onboard Communication)
VKMS (Vehicle Key Management System)
Secure Diagnostics
Secure Boot
Experienced with Requirements Management tools such as PTC, DOORS,

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Ideally background in SW Development for AUTOSAR additional to REQ Engineering background
Ideally PTC Integrity
