Pros

Learned everything I know about Paid Search as a Media Analyst and quickly got promoted. Learned from smart, passionate people who cared about doing a good job. Most people are friends outside of work, so moving to a new city, it's nice to have those type of co-workers. Was able to guide my own career and always felt comfortable asking questions and bringing up issues to management. Young company, lots of opportunity to launch your career, as long as you take control over it. People who are driven, work hard, and take notes will thrive here. People who wait around to be taught and not vocal about what they want will hate it here.

Cons

Top talent constantly leaving the company and going to Google or another tech company who can pay more and offer benefits (not a bad thing for those leaving) but hard to continuing learning if you're one of the more senior people left. Pay is good for a recent college grad, but as you become more senior, you expect more compensation, but it can be like pulling teeth. Not because management doesn't want to give it to you, but because there is limited funding for it to come from. People get restless by 1.5 years and start looking elsewhere.

Pros

- Colleagues are smart and support each other for the most part

Cons

- You are stretched thin and feel like the work never stops. You are often doing tasks below your level. - No time to focus on your career goals and development - Senior Mgmt/executives keep getting hired, but it takes excessively long to hire staff in the Media department that does actual work for current clients (Analysts/Managers, etc.) - Never-ending cycle of gaps in staffing - Raises and bonuses are an illusion

Pros

Great SEM and Display practices from a technical POV. New York and SF offices in great locations for transit. They pay higher than many agencies. Great place to be if you're entry level.

Cons

Horrendous culture. Tons of negative sorority type cliques and information hoarding. Prior to new CEO (2015) environment was very toxic, especially in NY and LA offices (e.g. company wide emails in NY office recommending "Ebola" themed Halloween party in 2015 that thankfully never happened, numerous reports of bullying, different departments not working well together, etc). Some of the client team members on a few of the big accounts were extremely unfriendly and seemed to be extensions of the cliques that existed in the office. Terrible working environment with a few sociopaths that ruined it for some of the more pleasant folks who were working really hard to make a positive difference.
